No more soap sticking to your sink! No more soap residue on your countertops and bathtub ledges! No more soggy soap bars!
Modern, clean, and stylish-looking are these soap dishes that we supply from a small business out of Oregon (yes, we like to support other small businesses wherever possible). Each dish has been meticulously hand sanded on all edges, creating a soft elegant look and feel. No one is like the other - colors will vary depending on the wood.
The minimal surface area allows for maximum airflow so that the soap drys quickly, significantly extending the life of the soap.
The material is either Poplar wood or Beech Wood. Poplar wood is a sustainable hardwood that varies in color from white to milky cream to minty green. Beechwood is a heavy hardwood that has a soft pinkish-red color with a specked wood grain. It is also a sustainable hardwood that grows in abundance in North American, and it performs exceptionally well with water and moisture exposure.
A soap dish significantly extends the life of a bar of soap - but did you know that you can also extend the life of your soap dish? Use your soap dishes in pairs to extend the life of the dish - use one dish for 2-3 weeks, and then switch it out with the second dish while allowing the first dish to completely dry out while you are using the second dish for 2-3 weeks. Doing this will prevent mold and mildew from developing and growing on your dish and greatly extend the life of the dish.
The soap dishes measure approx. 2.75 inches by 4 inches by 3/4 inch thick.
