What is a Lip Scrub? What's the point? A Lip Scrub is an Exfoliant (= remove dead cells) AND Emollient (= hydration) at the same time. In Blue Bison's Sugar Lip Scrub, our emollients are Avocado Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, and Cocoa Butter that hydrate and soothe the lips, while our exfoliant is Cane Sugar that smoothly removes dry, chapped skin from the lips.
The combination of our oils and butter, completed with Bees Wax from happy bees in Oregon, and Vitamin E (Tocopherol), will keep your lips kissable all year long. Cocoa butter, high in Vitamin E + A, is an emollient that is a great source of natural antioxidants. It adds a protective and hydration layer to your lips, helping protect them from extreme temperatures and indoor heat that can leave your lips dried out. Avocado Oil is fast-absorbing, rich in antioxidants, and contains a substance called sterolin, which helps to give the lips a supple feeling. Coconut Oil is known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory benefits and is loved for its ability to protect, restore and maintain your lips throughout the day.
To use the Sugar Lip Scrub, all you need to do is scoop out a little bit of the formula with your finger, and gently rub it over your lips. Once the dry skin is scrubbed and wiped away, you’ll find your lips super soft, hydrated, and refreshed. Follow up with a matching Lip Balm if you'd like!
